It seems, with absolutely no research, that many of the people either actively working to keep him off the ballots of all the various states or passively opining and commentating about Ralph, were not only singing a different tune about good ol’ H. Ross Perot but are actively avoiding remembering that candidate of not long ago. Has Perot, if he’s in good health, been interviewed recently? A quick search of news on Yahoo and Google search found nothing this side of business news from any U.S. journalism media.

At least one previous Brick has struck this note. I just want this remembered in 2008 and 2012 when so-called progressives (on the left and right and there’s a difference) try to push some third-party candidate because Choices A and B are not quite what they had in mind. I want to see them explain how Nader got mashed before starting here in ought-four but their guy or gal deserves ballot placement and debate participation. I want to see them talk on and on, as happened in Perot’s ’92 and ’92 campaigns, about this wonderful aspect of parliamentary governments with many parties, even though two dominate, like in England and Israel. -30-

Copyright 2004 Ben S.
