Will presidential candidates support the president? George II&#8217;s statements about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction and that Saddam had conspired with al-Qaida have been found wanting.<\/p>\n<p>If 2008 presidential candidates (that&#8217;s the year, not the number of contenders), oppose the president&#8217;s latest claim and he&#8217;s right, they&#8217;re cooked. If they support him, give him the benefit of the doubt, and he&#8217;s cooked the books again, they&#8217;re cooked along with the books.
