It&#8217;s on Joyce Boulevard west of the Wal-Mart and on the same side of the street.<\/p>\n<p>What will happen to the town&#8217;s main Malco, the Razorback 6? The company also runs the Mall Twin. Let&#8217;s ask those who might read this with some clout or say-so to not raze the Razorback and make it a dollar house, as areas certainly our size have long enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p>Dollar complexes show new movies just past their prime. Many devote a screen or more to independent, foreign and sometimes classic movies, as well as documentaries.  (Tulsa has <a title=\"Cinemark Movies 8, Tulsa, Okla.\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cinemark.com\/theater_showtimes.asp?theater_id=29\">Cinemark Movies 8<\/a>, whose movies still are $1 or $1.50, but Little Rock&#8217;s <a title=\"Well, it used to be more of a dollar house\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.marketstreetcinema.net\/\">Market Street Cinema<\/a> is just a hair cheaper than the main houses. Tulsa&#8217;s generally are second-runs, and Little Rock&#8217;s comprise indies and docs.)<\/p>\n<p>I would propose the Mall Twin, as it&#8217;s just two screens and possibly more cost-efficient for the company, but I bet Malco makes nice revenue there as parents can park the kids there to enjoy the newest releases while they shop.<\/p>\n<p>No, six screens with a mix of studio and small flicks, at a cheaper ticket, should make money here seven days a week, with all the college-age and artistic types around here. -30-<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Construction has proceeded enough at the site of a new movie complex in Fayetteville to be obvious that we&#8217;ll have more screens &#8212; and stadium seating just down the street &#8212; before too long.
