In today’s Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (March 20), this brief on 6B, further condensed here:
“The Arkansas Senate will spend about $185,000 to renovate offices for six senators and six staff members, the Senate Efficiency Committee decided Wednesday.
“Walls will be built from the ceiling to the floor so [six] senators who now have cubicles … can have private office space, said Bill Goodman, the Senate’s chief of staff. …
“The offices are assigned to Sens. John Paul Capps, D-Searcy; Bobby Glover, D-Carlisle; Jim Holt, R-Springdale; Randy Laverty, D-Jasper; Jerry Taylor, D-Pine Bluff; and the late Jerry Bookout, D-Jonesboro. …”
You’d think Bookout will be especially glad to get out of his cubicle.
One reply on “The Efficiency Committee”
Too funny.
